Exciting Summer Camp for 7 – 12 year olds

When: Monday to Friday 22nd – 26th July 2019
Time: 9.30 – 2.30
Where: ReCreate, Unit J5, Ballymount Drive, Ballymount Industrial Estate, D12
Cost: € 100 per child / second child: € 80 / third child: € 60

During your summer holidays, join us at ReCreate for a fun filled week of making, creating, stories and games. With one of our Creative Team, you will explore our magical Warehouse of Wonders, filled with materials such as wool, cardboard, foil and an unusual range of plastics. Travel upstairs to our Creative Zone and over 5 exciting days you can make, build and invent with amazing materials in the Warehouse of Wonders.

We are delighted to announce that DabbledooMusic will be joining us to deliver a very special workshop as part our Summer Camp. Learn how to create different sounds and even make your own instruments! Play along with Jazz Cat, Igor the Octopus and a bunch of other musical characters.

Activities will include:
• What can I make with this? Free play, making and creating.
• Large scale painting and print activities.
• Inventing stories and games with ReCreates creative materials.
• Create characters and bring them to life by making puppets using foam, fabric and fun!
• Construction, large and small – design and make sets or props for your characters.
• Music and instrument making to accompany our stories with DabbledooMusic.

Plus lots of other activities throughout the week.

At the end of the week, parents and guardians are invited to see the children’s work and we might even put on a performance!

Who is this for? This summer project is for 7 to 12-year olds.
