Join us for some creative fun and activities during our Weekend Sessions
We’re delighted that ReCreate now opens 7 days a week. Over the past number of months we have listened to the requests of both current and previous members, and have worked to increase our opening hours. ReCreate will now open as follows, giving you even more options for things to do in Dublin each weekend:
Our workshop will now be open over the weekends for private bookings. If you’d like to inquire about booking a workshop for your staff, or perhaps a birthday party, we now have extended availability across the weekend.
We are now also running drop in sessions with our new Weekend Artist coordinators each Saturday. See details below for upcoming sessions. Booking is encouraged and spaces can be booked by emailing Kevin at email@example.com
Throughout the month, we will have 2 sessions each Saturday. The sessions will be broken down into morning and afternoon workshops. Our morning workshops will take place from 10:30am-12pm. Our afternoon sessions will take place from 2:30pm-4pm. So why not pop in for some creative activities that are different to the normal things to do in Dublin.
ReCreate Weekend Lineup
Family Friendly Morning Sessions (10.30am – 12pm)
Saturday 7th March – World Book Day
This workshop will be filled with the joys of story-time. There will be picture books, silent books and pop-up books full of luminous illustrations! Taking inspiration from this inspiring space, you can create your own story through whatever medium you choose!
Saturday 21st March – Mixed Media Portraits
Do you know that we are instinctively led to recognize a face even by very few clues? We just need two eyes, a mouth, and a nose sometimes!
Common objects and reuse materials can easily turn into expressive faces! Join us for a morning of playing with object and expressions to create fabulous personalized portraits!
Saturday 28th March – Re-Bot the Robot
Have you ever imagined what a friendly Robot could look like? Come to ReCreate to make your own super cool Re-bot, a Robot completely made by reusing materials! 🙂
Family Friendly Afternoon Workshops – (2.30 – 4pm)
Saturday 7th March – Diorama
In this workshop we will build a three-dimensional space, albeit no pressure – a diorama that is unique to you! It can be as simplistic or dramatic as you like. The choice is yours!
Sunday 15th March (12:00-1:30pm) – What’s your St. Patricks Day Parade?
To celebrate Paddy’s day we will create props for our own parade. Be it green snakes or festive flags. The choice is yours. There will be lots of green to go around!
Saturday 21st March – Shapes, Lines & Colours
If we squint our eyes everything around us become a mix of shapes lines and colours!
As many artists in the past expressed their creativity through abstract paintings, we will gather for an afternoon of fun where we’ll be experimenting with shapes, lines and colour to create our own original and unique abstract work!
Saturday 28th March – Planet Heart
From afar the place we live looks like a colorful globe. Join us for an afternoon where you can make your own version of our planet, the way you see it or the way you would like to be it!
