Summer Camps 2021
We have two delightfully different outdoor summer camps running at ReCreate this August focused on curiosity, creativity and care for the environment.
- A 4-day Space Exploration Camp (Suitable for children aged 7+ years)
- A 4-day Campertown Festival Camp (Suitable for 8-12 years)
Space Exploration Camp
Tuesday 10th August – Friday 13th August
4 days | 10am – 2pm each day
Join ReCreate Ireland and artist, Jo May (Exploration Enthusiast) for this summer camp for children aged 7+
You are invited to make, wonder, tinker and think about the planet we live on and what a creative adventure would look like if we were to travel to space. We will be using materials supplied by ReCreate to inspire curiosity and highlight the ease of repurposing commonly found items. Each camp explorer will make space and earth inspired artworks at ReCreate Space Station HQ.

€100 per child (€80 per additional child)

Campertown Festival Camp
Monday 16th August – Thursday 19th August
4 days | 10am – 2pm each day
Welcome to Campertown.
Since we all have to ‘camp down’ at home this summer, what better time to enter the curious world of Campertown – a festival camp experience for children.
Over 4 days, the young campers will use their imagination and ReCreate’s reuse materials to create sustainable bunting, dreamcatchers, windchimes, mobiles, birdboxes, and larger festival props like dens, storytelling tepees and upcycled seating.
This camp, led by our headline act, Liz Smith, is all about learning how to festivalize your life, home and garden in fantastically new and sustainable ways. This camp includes a tour of ReCreate’s warehouse and a mini-festival event on the final day.

We’d be happy to welcome your little ones from 9.30am each morning to allow them time to settle in. We’ll start getting creative at 10am. Camp finishes at 2pm, but the children can stay on until 2.30pm to help us tidy and set up for the coming day.
