ReCreate staff are delighted to have won the Pakman Award for Environmental Education and Awareness Initiative 2017.

The Pakman Awards are a national awards programme that recognise excellence in waste management and recycling among businesses, organisations, community groups and individuals in Ireland. The Awards seek to recognise complete excellence in the environmental approach taken by a business, organisation or community group in all aspects of their operations. The Pakman judging panel was looking for measurable impacts across all elements of the waste hierarchy. Reuse, reduction, recycling and waste minimisation alongside environmental management of food, water, energy and biodiversity.

There were a host of other awards on the night also, celebrating all good things reuse and recycling across Ireland. You can check out the other winners Here
