ReCreate invites you and your family to Corkagh Park on the 15th June 2019. Join us between 12-5pm for a fun filled afternoon of making and creating. To celebrate the national day of creativity and culture for children and young people, the ReCreate team will bring an array of creative activities to this beautiful green space. Be curious and inventive together with materials such as wool, plastics, fabric and foil and celebrate ReCreate’s first Family Fun Day for Cruinniú na nÓg 2019.

A feast for the senses, activities will spill out onto the grass. Catering for all ages, a range of activities will be available, and the children’s creations can be taken home as a memory of Cruinniú na nÓg 2019. Let’s make a day of it!

Activities:

Making space for shared discoveries and collaboration activities will include:

  • A cardboard Crooked House or Castle to explore and draw on.
  • Sticky Wall for brightly coloured yarn and fabric creations.
  • Giant Painting Wall suspended within the trees.
  • Weave Area with wigwams and fishing net, a collaborative activity for siblings and parents.
  • Construction Corner, an assortment of reuse materials for transformation
