ReCreate is a national social enterprise that takes end of line and surplus stock from businesses and reuses them as arts materials. Our warehouse is full to the brim with all types of fantastic arts materials such as paper, wool, plastics, fabric, tubing, foam and many other unusual and unexpected surprises.
At ReCreate we collect surplus materials from businesses for use as art, craft, play and educational materials by thousands of groups working with children, young people, the active retired and others.
We collect for free – we’re aiming to re-distribute around 100 tonnes a year locally for creative re-use. We can arrange collections on an ad-hoc or on-going basis.
ReCreate is underpinned by the core values of: creativity, equality, social inclusion, transparency and accountability.

ReCreate sources unwanted, end-of-line surplus materials from business and makes them available to members such as schools, pre-schools, youth groups and art groups for creative activities.
ReCreate’s vision is to become:
A successful social enterprise inspiring curiosity, creativity and care for the environment.
ReCreate aims to:
Provide accessible and affordable art materials/educational supplies to early education providers, schools, youth, community & arts groups and others nationwide.
Facilitate social inclusion and social gain throughout the community.
Divert materials from landfill and raise environmental awareness.
For creative groups such as schools and youth groups, we aim to offer easy access to a rich and varied selection of textures, colours and shapes. Members are also able to participate in creative workshops facilitated by fully trained professional artists either in-house or on your own premises. We intend to be the first choice of teachers, early childhood educators and arts animators in the community.
For businesses, ReCreate reduces the costs of moving on end-of-line materials. We are a professional, credible and reliable partner organisation and our aim is to divert approximately 115 metric tonnes of clean materials from landfill annually. All collections are free of charge.
We are located just 3 mins from Exit 10 on the M50 (Ballymount). Many thanks to the Environmental Protection Agency for their generous funding for the ReCreate Revolution Project in 2015.
